I'm building up my inventory as well for a garage sale, don't have enough yet. I'm inspired by your finds. I love it when my fellow pickers find stuff, resell it and can use that to put food on the table or anything else they want. Keep on picking!

Hey all,
So i just finished what was probably the largest garage sale ever. Over half of the stuff there was stuff that me and my boyfriend garbage picked in only a week and a half! We had everything. Clothes, shoes, toys, electronics, furniture, everything.
All in all, money made strictly from things that were pulled off the curb totaled to about $154!!! It's just absolutely nuts what people throw out, and it certainly helped with a car payment :D Anyway, can't wait til our next garage sale!!

Not sure if this is garbage picking - but I hate buying newspapers at airports.. Instead, I walk by the seats for a flight that is about to board.. Inevitably, there is always a newspaper left in mint condition... I pretend to sit down in the sit next to the paper and then casually start to read it.. at that point, I take ownership.

Does this cross the line? Any thoughts...
Is it like George eating the custard pie from the garbage can as his mother-in-law looks on?
So many things in the company dumpster - swivel chairs, in-out plastic trays, computer monitors... list is endless...
Just wait till the boss leaves though.
